Aaron Sorkin Conjures a Meeting of Obama and Bartlet September 25, 2008
OBAMA The problem is we can’t appear angry. Bush called us the angry left. Did you see anyone in Denver who was angry?
BARTLET Well … let me think. …We went to war against the wrong country, Osama bin Laden just celebrated his seventh anniversary of not being caught either dead or alive, my family’s less safe than it was eight years ago, we’ve lost trillions of dollars, millions of jobs, thousands of lives and we lost an entire city due to bad weather. So, you know … I’m a little angry.

Commentary: Sarah Palin, Right and Wrong September 4, 2008
McCain and Palin want us to leave their families alone. Yet they want to make rules for our families by eliminating our right to make our own choices over abortion, eliminate our access to family planning education or domestic partner benefits, and our freedom from discrimination.

Because Everyone Loves New York in His Own Particular Way May 31, 2008
“I love New York because we order pizza from the Italian place across the street and have our laundry delivered. We take a taxi to the gym. We know exactly what we want out of life and careers, but can’t decide where to eat brunch. We make plans and don’t keep any of them. We think a studio for $1,500 a month is a steal, but get pissed when the coffee guy raises his prices 25 cents. We fight with cabbies about their driving skills, but we are 35 and have never had a driver’s license.”

plants are living, true, and if we abide by the idea that “all living things have rights” then plants should have rights. but, do plants really have FEELINGS? do they understand when they are being wronged? do they feel pain the way that animals do?… i don’t think so.
i’m kind of not surprised that it’s switzerland debating plant rights, haha.
