The ultrasound image showed what looked like a balloon growing out of Macie’s tailbone — except that it was full of blood vessels and was as big as the fetus itself. The tumor was noncancerous … but still deadly.

“This tumor was gigantic,” Cass said. “It was the size of a grapefruit.”

here’s what i had to deal with during my walk home from work today.

i don’t understand the first guy and his global warming banner… it seems counterintuitive to post it on THIS building, which was newly built to be a green structure. had the second guy also planned this, or was he a copycat?

also, when you look at the building and the ceramic rods, you can’t help but think that it was just a matter of time. those rods were a perfect ladder straight to the roof.

this is really cool and all, but why didn’t they try to find her a liver with the same blood type? it’s already risky that the organ could be rejected even if its completely compatible.
